Portable and Research Veterinary Anesthesia Machines

Portable veterinary anesthesia machines suit clinics that move equipment between rooms or sites, as well as mobile and field practices. Research and lab buyers will also find tabletop and rolling machines here for lab rooms and rodent work.

The Moduflex Compact Field Service is assembled in a hard carrying case with wheels for field and mobile use. It includes a cagemount isoflurane vaporizer plus Bain and Y circuits, and it weighs 60 lb (27.2 kg) with the vaporizer. The Mindray Veta 3X runs on a tabletop, on a wall kit, or on a trolley. Its tabletop main unit weighs 44 lb or less, and a mechanical ACGO switch selects a rebreathing or non-rebreathing circuit. The floor Moduflex Compact and the Moduflex Access 2 roll on five-wheel spider bases, and each machine weighs 27 lb.

For research and lab work, the Moduflex Labvet is a 7 lb tabletop non-rebreathing machine whose H-shaped stand sits on a bench or portable table and fits inside most laboratory ventilation hoods. The Moduflex NRB rolls to the table on a five-wheel spider base for rodent research and very small patients. Both are offered in MRI Conditional builds.

When you compare models, check how each one travels (case, trolley, or casters), its weight, the vaporizer mount, and whether you need rebreathing, non-rebreathing, or both. For wall-mount and floor models, see all veterinary anesthesia machines.
