Overview
The Moduflex NRB is a non-rebreathing machine for teams that work with very small animals, run rodent studies, or use only an open Bain-type circuit. It stands on a five-wheel spider base, so the unit rolls to the table instead of taking up bench space.
Oxygen delivery is set on a 0.1 to 4 LPM flowmeter with a rotating float, and a second flowmeter can be added. The fresh gas outlet uses a quick-connect fitting, the flush valve is recessed, and the vaporizer installs on a SELECTATEC-compatible manifold. A condensation trap, a 23 x 18 cm (9 x 7 in) monitor shelf, a 3 meter (9 ft) oxygen supply hose, a fresh gas connector, and 1 meter (3.28 ft) of fresh gas tubing come standard. One-output and three-output versions are available.
For rooms without floor space, a wall-mount configuration carries the same NRB layout on a wall bracket. The NRB sits with the lab and research units in our veterinary anesthesia machines.
