Overview
The Mindray Vetus 80 is a cart-based veterinary ultrasound built on the ZST+ platform, which combines zone imaging, zone focusing, and zone processing of 100% raw data. It weighs 146.6 lb (66.5 kg) or less and has a storage height under 3.3 ft (1 m) for scanning large animals.
UWN+ contrast imaging uses both second harmonic and non-linear fundamental signals for longer agent duration at a lower MI, with contrast QA for liver, kidney, and spleen and LVO for the left ventricle. The SC5-1Ns and SP5-1Ns single crystal transducers handle abdominal and cardiac scans of large animals.
For small patients, dedicated exotic pet presets pair with the L16-4Hs hockey-stick transducer for animals such as guinea pigs, mice, lizards, and turtles. A built-in battery supports cage-side exams, and a magnetic front cover keeps fur, dander, dust, and fluids off the transducer connectors.
