Overview
The Mindray TE5 Vet is a touch screen ultrasound system built around veterinary anesthesia and surgery. The 15-inch anti-glare touchscreen responds to gel-covered gloves, gesture controls cover all clinical functions, and a clean-lock function locks the screen for cleaning and disinfection during surgery.
iVocal takes voice commands through a wireless microphone, and users can add, delete, and rename commands. iNeedle+, the second-generation needle visualization, supports needle-guided procedures on linear and convex transducers. The L12-3RCs linear transducer has three programmable buttons for depth and gain, freeze, saving images and cine, and more.
The main unit weighs about 16.3 lb (7.4 kg) with batteries and runs more than 2 hours on battery. It mounts on a height-adjustable trolley with transducer cable management, or on an optional table stand or wall mount, and has built-in wireless networking.
Key Features
Glove-friendly touchscreen
15-inch anti-glare display with a wide viewing angle that works with gel-covered gloves.
iVocal voice control
Voice commands through a wireless microphone, with a user-editable command list.
iNeedle+
Second-generation needle visualization on linear and convex transducers for guided procedures.
L12-3RCs buttons
Three programmable buttons on the transducer for depth, gain, freeze, and save without touching the system.
Built-in battery
Replaceable 14.8 V lithium pack for more than 2 hours of continuous use and over 22 hours on standby.
Height-adjustable trolley
Optional trolley with cable management, or an optional table stand or wall mount.
Touch and voice control
Run the exam without leaving the sterile field
Gesture controls and a 15-inch touchscreen replace a keyboard, and the screen works with gel-covered gloves.
iVocal and the three programmable buttons on the L12-3RCs let the operator change depth and gain, freeze, and save images without touching the console.
Trolley and mounting
Trolley, table stand, or wall mount
The optional trolley adjusts from 49.8 to 61.3 in (1266 to 1556 mm) high, tilts the display 50° up, and carries a gel holder, towelette holster, printer holder, and storage bin.
Transducer cable management on the trolley protects the cords, and up to 3 transducers stay connected at once.
