The Dispomed Patient Circuit Alarm is designed to be added to any brand of anesthesia machine to monitor and alert users if the patient’s airway pressure approaches a dangerous level, particularly during assisted ventilation. It helps reduce the risk of elevated pressure and warns if the evacuation valve is not re-opened after ventilating the patient. The alarm is adjustable, allowing users to set the pressure at a comfortable level. It is easy to install, operates on a standard 9-volt battery, and is factory pre-set at 15cm H2O. The product is made in Canada and comes with a 5-year warranty, excluding the battery.
