Overview
The Dispomed Cylinder Holder for Moduflex Coaxial and Moduflex Elite mounts a small oxygen cylinder on those Moduflex machines. Dispomed positions it for backup when central oxygen is unavailable, and for moving an anesthetized patient to a room without oxygen wall outlets while keeping cylinder supply on the machine.
Dispomed notes that small cylinders used with holders cost about seven times more per liter to fill than large cylinders, so the holder is best treated as a backup or mobile-supply option rather than a primary oxygen source. When buying cylinder holders or regulators, Dispomed advises choosing brass construction to reduce fire hazards. A separate MRI Conditional cylinder-holder model is offered for MRI-room workflows (not this SKU).
