Overview
The Dispomed Cylinder Holder for Moduflex Compact, Moduflex NRB, and Moduflex Access2 mounts a small oxygen cylinder on those portable / compact Moduflex machines. Dispomed positions it for backup when central oxygen is down, and for relocating an anesthetized patient to a room without oxygen outlets while keeping cylinder supply on the machine.
As with other Dispomed cylinder holders, the manufacturer notes that small cylinders cost about seven times more per liter to fill than large cylinders; use as backup or mobile supply, not as the default primary oxygen path. Dispomed also advises brass construction for holders and regulators to reduce fire hazards. A separate MRI Conditional cylinder-holder line exists for MRI-room workflows (not this SKU).
