Overview
The Mindray BeneFusion SP1 Vet is a compact, light syringe pump for veterinary use. It takes 5 to 60 mL syringes with automatic size recognition and delivers 0.1 to 1500 mL/h, with rate accuracy of ±2% or ±0.005 mL/h, whichever is larger.
A fast-start function delivers the first drop within 2 to 3 seconds, even at the lowest rates. Occlusions are managed by the Dynamic Pressure System and an anti-bolus function that releases pressure when an occlusion occurs.
The SP1 Vet is rated IP34 for water and dust, passes a 30 in (75 cm) drop test, and meets EN 1789 for use in veterinary ambulances. The standard battery runs at least 6 hours at 25 mL/h, and common operations take fewer than 3 steps.
Key Features
Rate accuracy
±2% or ±0.005 mL/h, whichever is larger, which suits low-rate delivery for small animals.
Fast start
The first drop arrives within 2 to 3 seconds, even at the lowest rates.
Occlusion management
A numeric Dynamic Pressure System display, 3 occlusion levels, and anti-bolus pressure release.
IP34 and drop tested
Protected against water and dust, and drop tested from 30 in (75 cm).
Battery for transfer
At least 6 hours at 25 mL/h on one battery, or at least 12 hours with the optional second battery.
Syringe setup
Pre-configured syringes, automatic size recognition, and custom syringe calibration.
Display and controls
Simple, menu-based operation
A 2.5-inch monochrome LCD with 8 brightness levels uses menu-based navigation. Common tasks take fewer than 3 steps, and alarms are both audible and visual at 3 priority levels.
