Overview
The Mindray VetiX S380 is a veterinary digital radiography system built on Mindray human DR standards. It combines a 32 kW high-frequency generator, a Canon E7239X rotating anode tube, a cesium iodide flat panel detector, and a floating 4-way table, with acquisition software made for veterinary positioning.
The generator runs at an inverter frequency up to 460 kHz, which Mindray says improves radiation quality and reduces radiation noise. The 43 x 43 cm detector has 140 µm pixel spacing, a 3072 x 3072 matrix, 16-bit data, and an IP54 rating against animal hair and body fluids. A preview appears in 2.3 s or less.
iShotHelper gives step-by-step positioning guidance, iVocal lets the operator trigger exposure by voice, and iFast powers the system on and off with one key. With the optional 15.6 in touchscreen, iSolo lets one person position the patient, expose, and finish the exam from the same interface.
Key Features
iShotHelper guidance
Step-by-step positioning guidance on screen for consistent veterinary views.
iVocal voice exposure
Trigger exposure by voice, hand switch, or foot switch, so hands stay with the patient.
iSolo workflow
One operator positions, exposes, and reviews from the same touchscreen interface.
iFast power
One key turns the whole system on or off, cutting start-up steps.
460 kHz generator
A 32 kW high-frequency generator from 40 to 125 kVp and 10 to 500 mA.
IP54 detector
The CsI flat panel detector resists dust and liquids from hair and body fluids.
Positioning guidance
iShotHelper, step by step
iShotHelper shows a reference photo and written instructions for each positioning step on the acquisition screen, next to the exposure settings.
Voice-controlled exposure
iVocal, plus hand and foot switches
With the iVocal voice-controlled module, the operator triggers exposure by voice. A hand switch and a foot switch are the other two exposure modes. Voice and foot exposure leave the operator's hands free for the patient.
Available options
- Tabletop length: 150 cm standard, 120 cm optional
- Touchscreen: 15.6 in, for iSolo single-operator workflow
- Exposure: hand switch, foot switch, iVocal voice-controlled module
