Overview
This Refurbished Fabius GS brings a Drager anesthesia workstation into the veterinary operating room. Its E-vent ventilator is electronically controlled and electrically driven, so ventilation does not draw on a drive-gas supply, and the internal battery runs the ventilator and monitor for more than 45 minutes if mains power drops.
Volume control (IPPV) and manual/spontaneous are the standard modes, and pressure control, pressure support, and synchronized volume control with pressure support can be added as options. The compact breathing system includes PEEP, pressure limiting, and decoupling of fresh gas from the ventilator, and the machine monitors airway pressure, volume, and inspired oxygen. A two-position Drager manifold is set up for Vapor 2000 vaporizers, alarms are organized in three priority tiers, and large drawers keep supplies at the machine. Vaporizers and monitors are optional.
